What is NAMI?
NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots organization for people with mental illness and their families.
Founded in 1979, NAMI has affiliates in every state and in more than 1,100 local communities across the country. NAMI Mercer is the largest local affiliate in the state of New Jersey.
NAMI has been rated by Worth magazine as one of the top 100 charities "most likely to save the world." We have earned an "A" rating by the American Institute of Philanthropy for efficient and effective use of charitable dollars.
