NAMI Trustee Louise Mehrotra honored by
Princeton YWCA
NAMI Board member Louise Mehrotra, Princeton Junction,
was one of eight women chosen as honorees at this year’s
YWCA Princeton "Tribute to Women" awards dinner at the
Hyatt Regency Princeton on May 8.
Louise Mehrotra joined the NAMI Mercer Board of
Trustees in 2002. She is vice president of finance for Janssen
Pharmaceutica, Titusville, and manages all company operating budgets
and more than 50 employees engaged in providing financial support
to Janssen’s $2.3 billion U.S. business. She pioneered new
and innovative work and family initiatives through the establishment
of multiple alternate work arrangements, resulting in the retaining
of women in the Janssen work force while allowing them to balance
work and family.
Louise is a visiting lecturer at The College of
New Jersey, and volunteers in the Mercer County Community College
Bridge to Employment program. A graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming
College in Peterborough, Ontario, she has lived in the United
States since 1995. She and her husband, André Van Hoek,
have three children.
